Eng 12: Monday, 2 April

Today we reviewed the literary devices we learned on Friday.  Then we used the poem "Golden Passage" as a means to practice locating sound and meaning devices.  Finally we read DH Lawrence's "Snake" and made note of the use of sound devices.  I love the imagery - what did you think was the theme?  We also researched the allusion to Coleridge's albatross.  Tomorrow we'll do an biggish activity studying Earl Birney's "David."
